Mind Your Manners: Stream Etiquette 101

With Memorial Day weekend behind us—a weekend that for many marks the beginning of summer and the time to be outdoors adventuring. Adventuring means different things to different people, but for an ever-growing number of people, this means dusting off the fishing tackle and heading out to the river. Nice weather means crowds on many rivers around our state—a less than ideal fact for any angler, but with the proper knowledge, one that can be managed. For those of us who fish all year round as well as for those who only come out to enjoy warmer weather fishing, it is important to remember that we share the river, and if we all share the water correctly as this article from Trouts teaches us, fishing on crowded water can be much more pleasant.
