Winter fly fishing: A different world

With the “polar vortex” finally abating across the country and temperatures returning to normal, we can turn our attention back to fishing. Though many consider fishing to be a warm weather sport (other than ice fishing of course), the winter can be one of the best times of year for beautiful big fish and solitude on the river.
